JOHANNESBURG – The Public Servants Association has agreed to end the wage strike after reaching an agreement with the South African Revenue Services (SARS).
SARS and the union have agreed on a three-year deal which includes an 8% hike.
Workers downed tools last week demanding an 11.4 percent salary increase across the board.
It’s still unclear whether Nehawu has accepted the latest wage offer from SARS.
